The Creation of God is done in Genesis or Revelation?
Although
(Genesis 2:1, JSB) “On the seventh day God finished the work
that he had been doing; and he ceased on the seventh day from all the work
that he had done.” Does it show that God finished or complete the whole part
of His creation?
We find
that Revelation 21:5-6 (NASB,) “And He who sits on the throne
said, "Behold, I am making all things new." And He said, "Write, for these
words are faithful and true." He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and
the Omega, the Beginning and the End.” (The incoming God is MAKING everything
new.)
How does
He make this last part of His creation? “HE SAID”, Just like how did He make
in the first part.
Hence, The
Creation of God is done by Revelation rather than Genesis. The creation of God
is not described in the first two chapter of the Hebrew Bible, but is
described in the whole chapter of the Holy Bible.
This
opinion indicates three points:
1. God let human become His fellow
workers. And join His creation.
2. The center and climax of His
creation is that this creator became a flesh into the world to finish
something He cannot do off this world.
3. In the first part of His creation,
God shows Himself in the time; In the last part of His creation, God shows
Himself in the space.
